Our Volunteers and staff will conduct a health check as children enter the Nursery/Classroom. If following Covid-19 like symptoms are present a parent will be notified to immediately pick up the child(ren) from the Nursery/Classroom.
• Fever, feeling hot, or feverish
• Shortness of breath of difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Headache
• Muscle or body aches
• Recent loss of taste or smell
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea
If a child has any one of the following: diarrhea, vomiting, chills, congestion or runny nose, headache, muscle or body aches, nausea, sore throat they may return to the Nursery/Classroom when they no longer have symptoms for 24 hours without the use of medication.
If any symptoms last more than 24 hours: students may return to school when fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medications and improvement of symptoms for at least 24 hours.
If a Child has any combination of the following symptoms: a fever of 100.4 or above, new onset or worsening cough, shortness of breath not attributable to underlying cause, loss of taste or smell they may return to our campus when all symptoms have resolved without the use of medication and 10 days have passed.
A negative Covid-19 lab test is optional in place of 10 days.
A licensed healthcare provider note stating the child does not have Covid-19, will be acceptable for them to return.
Your household must remain away from our campus if any member of your household has a confirmed case of Covid-19.
14 days after exposure or 10 days after the onset of symptoms, you may again utilize the our campus provided the following; at least 10 days have passed since any household member first experienced symptoms; and symptoms have improved for any household member that experienced symptoms. The household has been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
If we receive notice that a child or one of our volunteers and/or Staff has a positive Covid-19 test result we will notify our families as necessary and also the Church Office will be notified.
