As we near the completion of several major campus renovation projects, we are preparing to begin Phase 1 of a multi-phase campus landscaping plan focused on safety, accessibility, sustainability, and long-term campus care.
Over the past several years, renovation funds have supported essential behind-the-scenes improvements across our campus—structural updates, infrastructure, technology, and facilities work that helps our church function safely and effectively every day. With many of those projects now complete or nearing completion, Phase 1 allows us to focus on how people move through, gather in, and experience our shared spaces.
Phase 1 of the landscape plan includes:
27 new trees
60 new native, desert, and water-wise plants
Supporting landscape and site work to promote long-term plant health
Improved ADA-friendly access and campus flow
Opening portions of the sanctuary patio area to better connect with nearby grassy spaces
Defined, safe walkways in areas already heavily used for foot traffic
Ground lighting along pathways to improve visibility and safety
Together, these improvements will help create a campus that is more welcoming, accessible, and usable for gatherings, events, and everyday ministry, while also supporting sustainability and reducing long-term maintenance needs.
Those who wish to support Phase 1 are invited to participate through sponsorship:
Sponsor a tree – $225
Sponsor a plant – $75
Gifts may also be made generally toward the landscaping project, allowing funds to be applied where they are most helpful as this phase moves forward.

Participation in Phase 1 will be reflected in several meaningful ways:
A shared display in the narthex will visually track progress as trees and plants are sponsored.
A dedication journal will be available for participants who wish to write a note to the church or indicate if their gift is given in honor or in memory of someone.
The dedication journal is currently being embellished by one of our newest church members, and once it is ready, we will let participants know when it is available.
The journal will be accessible:
Sunday mornings
Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, in the Preschool Office
In addition, a year-end thank-you list recognizing all Phase 1 participants will be shared as part of our year end reporting.
The Renovation Team is continuing to finalize details, including a construction start date. Once a timeline is confirmed, we will share updates with the congregation.
A display in the narthex will include:
Project details
Design visuals and photos
A progress tracker showing sponsorship milestones
Please note that all images and displays are design mockups intended to help visualize the project. Final layouts, plant selections, and installation details may change as plans are finalized. Trees and plants shown are representative, not exact replicas.
Thank you for helping us complete this phase of campus improvements in a way that is thoughtful, accessible, sustainable, and truly rooted in care for the future of our church.
