Mingus Mountain United Methodist Camp

Summer  Camp

Established in the late 1940′s, Mingus Mountain Camp & Retreat Center has nurtured and nourished generations of campers and families under its towering Ponderosa pines and night skies splashed with countless stars. Since  its inception in 1947, Mingus’ camps have been staffed by volunteers  drawn from the ranks of pastors, youth leaders, educators, and church  volunteers. In addition to its regular cycle of children’s, youth, and  family camps, Mingus hosts local church retreats, school band camps, and  small group meetings.

Mingus Mountain Camp is a Christian camp and retreat center sponsored by the United Methodist Church.  Mingus Mountain Camp is located on Mingus Mountain near Prescott Valley, Arizona, about two hours north of Phoenix.

A super week and camp where we’ll “Get Real” and find our true selves in Jesus!

Super Camp is a great camp experience for elementary through middle school aged youth!  Super Camp is essentially run as two individual camps during the same week at Camp Mingus. Elementary campers and middle school campers participate in separated, age appropriate activities.  The result is a super week and a super camp where we’ll “Get Real” and find our true selves in Jesus.

Through conversations with our cabin groups, family groups, arts and crafts, hikes, outdoor adventures, great meals, campfires, and many other fun activities and surprises along the way we will “get real,” exploring what our faith in Jesus means for who we are, and who we can be.

We hope to see you at Super Camp this summer where we will find Jesus alive in everything we do together.
