At FUMC Gilbert, Sunday School is for Pre-K3's through 6th grade. Our Pre-K3's, Pre-K4's, Kindergarten and 1st Graders classrooms are in the East Education Wing. These classrooms are specifically designed for these young children in mind. Our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th/6th Grade classrooms are located on the second floor of the West Education Wing.

The 2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th Graders start their Sunday School by worshipping with the adults in the Sanctuary. Then after the Children's Time, they are led to their individual classrooms by their teachers. Please remember to sign your children in (sign in books are located just before entering the narthax) before taking them to the reserved section for them in the front of the sanctuary. You will see Sunday School Teachers standing in the area in which you need to walk your child to. After Children's time (which is in the beginning of the service) the children will follow their teachers out of the Sanctuary and up to their classrooms where they will spend the remainder of the time.

For Grades Pre-K through 3rd grade, a parent/guardian must return to the classroom to sign out their child.  For 4th-6th graders, they may sign themselves out, if you have checked that off on the registration form.

All Sunday School Students: Parents must fill out a registration form. This form does several things:

• Will give Children's Education all pertinent home information

• Will let us know if your child has any allergies we need to know about

• Will let us know if you have approved your 4th - 6th grader to sign themselves out.

• Will let us know if you have approved your 4th - 6th grader to sign themselves out.

• Will ease the signing in and out procedure by adding the children to the attendance roster.

Please return forms to the Youth and Children's Ministry Office (Room 103) or to your child's teacher.The children should be in the grade that they are in at their weekly school program.
